Selvarossa is an Apulian red wine  very strong and characteristic, warm, rich and persistent. Produced  from  Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera grapes    , it's a pleasant winning -wine ,perfect with tasty dishes and red meat.
Melarosa rosè sparkling wine is delicate, fresh and fragrant, extra-dry. It's produced from Negroamaro grapes and it's perfect as an aperitif with light appetizers and seafood. Melarosa is a winning wine ,too.

1 -Bottle of Selvarossa Salice Salentino Riserva 2011 DOP

GRAPES: 85% Negroamaro, 15% Malvasia Nera
WINE: Wine produced from ripe grapes and choices of Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera, manually harvested in crates and further selection on a conveyor belt, once they reach the cellar. Maceration took place in fermenters horizontal rotating 500 hectoliters. During this period (14 days), the wine completed its alcoholic fermentation at a temperature not exceeding 20 ° C, before being introduced in new oak barrels, where malolactic fermentation was completed. The wine was racked and placed in barrels, where it remained for nine months, after which it was bottled. This was followed by an aging in bottle before release.
TASTING NOTES: Red ruby ​​intense and deep with amaranth reflexes. Nose: attractive cherry jam and dates, notes of vanilla and liquorice. The palate is marked by notes of red fruits and the sweet nuances of wood. Warm, good fragrance, with vigorous tannins however delicate. Lingering finish.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14.5% approximately
TEMPERATURE: 18-20 ° C
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: first courses, grilled, venison, lamb, fermented cheeses and seasoned.
